In the wake of last week’s fires in the region, the planned November 9 Nitzanim session is cancelled and will be rescheduled.
However, we are instead offering a gentle hike with Janet Rae to the Wolf House in Jack London State Park. The Wolf House was destroyed by a fire 106 years ago, before it was completed. Janet Rae will lead this walk and guide families in conversation about how we experienced the fire emergency, what we can learn from the natural environment, and what our tradition has to say on the subject. This event is free, but we need your RSVP.
Also, parking at Jack London Park is $10 per car.
The path involves ups and downs, but is paved and wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair-accessible portable restroom is available at the Wolf House site.
