ABOUT ABOUT

Led by Reb Irwin Keller, with Chantleader Atzilah Solot and the Good Shabbos Band.

We're are emerging from a narrow place right now – it has been a time of community-wide trauma as well as political anxiety.

Together we will let the medicine of Pesach infuse us. Join us for this ancient ritual, this night of storytelling. The Children of Israel did not emerge from the narrow place of Egypt right into the Promised Land. They needed time to wander, time in the in-between. We will honor that in-between space. We will offer our gratitude for being in community. We will sing. We will eat. We will tell stories.

This year's Seder meal, vegetarian and fish, will include kitniyot – rice and legumes. (This is the practice of Sephardic communities, and recently became the official practice of the Conservative Movement.) If it is your practice to abstain from rice and legumes on Passover, just let us know and we will have a traditional Ashkenazic-style meal available for you.

Please consider making a contribution to "Elijah's Plate" when you buy your ticket, to help make it possible for those who cannot afford it to participate.

Of all the great things we do at Ner Shalom, this is one of the greatest. We can't wait to see you there.

Note: Ticket sales close at 5PM on Wednesday, March 28 because of our cutoff with the caterer. No tickets will be available at the door.
