How do we move from slavery to freedom? How do we get the waters of redemption flowing? In our traditional Exodus story, it was five radical women – a mother, a daughter, two midwives and a princess – who stirred the waters.
With talk, song and symbolism, we will lean into the ways we make change – through resistance, generosity, creativity and courage – using these five women as our touchstones. The evening will be thought-provoking, laughter-filled, and suitable for all genders and all generations. Bring your favorite conversation partners and organizing buddies.
A delicious catered dinner (vegetarian plus fish) will be served. Please consider making a contribution to "Elijah's Plate" when you buy your ticket, to help make it possible for those who cannot afford it to participate.
Of all the great things we do at Ner Shalom, this is one of the greatest. We can't wait to see you there.
Note: Ticket sales close at 5PM on Wednesday, April 11 because of our cutoff with the caterer. No tickets will be available at the door.
