Nitzanim's Sukkot: Activating the Holy

ABOUT ABOUT

In our Sukkot session, "Activating the Holy", we will explore what makes the ordinary not so ordinary. How do a bundle of 3 branches and a funny lemon become a magic wand that casts blessing on us and the world? How does a circle of drums become a loud prayer for rain? This Sunday our young people will enjoy participating in a drum circle, sitting in the sukkah, and learning about our indigenous Jewish magic.

This session is for kiddos only. Parents are free to take a nice walk, or go have coffee (individually or together!). If you are leaving your child with us, and you have not already done so, you must fill out this enrollment form so we have all your emergency contact information.

If your child is enrolled for the year or with a "six-pack", please let us know if they are coming or not, so we have enough drums. If you are registering session by session, use this site to pay your registration.

If you have attended past sessions and have not yet paid for them, please pay for them in the "additional donation" line of the ticket mechanism.

The Ner Shalom Nitzanim Program is an offering for young people, K-8, and their families. It is an opportunity for the whole family to deepen in Jewish experience and learning through song, prayer, nature, art, story, movement, text and discussion. Together our young people will blossom and draw sustenance from Judaism’s deep, deep roots.
