Chanukah Card Making the Iris Folding Way
Have you been wondering what to do with all the Chanukah wrapping paper that has accumulated over the years? Put that unused wrapping paper to good us by making your own Iris Folding Chanukah Cards.
Iris Folding is a technique that originated in 20th century Holland. Colored or patterned papers are folded and cut into strips and then taped into place over a pattern. The result is a spiraling design that resembles the iris of an eye or camera.
We will be making dreidels and Star of Davids. Patterns and materials needed will be emailed to all registered participants prior to the class.
