In this 4-session workshop, we will explore our own post-Holocaust and other Jewish trauma, through a weekly creative activity combined with discussion, introspection, and practicing grounding skills. Sharing these in community can facilitate healing for all. The workshop is centered on Rabbi Tirzah Firestone’s book, Wounds into Wisdom: Healing Intergenerational Jewish Trauma. We strongly encourage all participants to read it.
Why should you do this work? Are you stirring a hornet’s nest? Research has shown that unprocessed trauma is carried for at least three generations. We aim to offer an opportunity to enable you to reduce your reactivity and create more spaciousness in your life.
The 4 workshop sessions will take place in-person only on Sundays 3:00 – 6:00 pm at Ner Shalom
